Post-Industrial Investigations Around Akron, Ohio
These drawings, paintings, and small sculptural works in cast glass began in 2025. I am increasingly fascinated by the echoes of the built environment—traces tied to the hopes and dreams of our American entrepreneurial narrative. We discard, we reuse, we forget, and we reinvent our cities, often in ways that are non-linear. Most often, it seems, we move on and wonder why things have changed—why areas that were once populated no longer are. I love the echoes of time that concrete and stone help to create.
